Course description

“But whoever returns (to Ribaa), such are the dwellers of the Fire — they will abide therein.” [al-Baqarah 2:275]

Money Matters, is a course taught by Br. Mansoor Danish that deals with one of the most debated and discussed topics of our times: The concept of RIBA (interest) as it pertains to a variety of financial transactions and the rulings according to the Shariah Law.

You Will Learn:

  • How to decipher and understand which types of financial transactions are prohibited in Islam
  • About the concept of RIBA (interest) in Islam
  • What the rulings are regarding financial transactions that affect daily life e.g., Home Loans, Car Loans, Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Insurance, Interest from Banks etc.
  • About permissible alternatives to avoid prohibited financial transactions in Islam

You Will Receive:

  • Six power-packed LIVE sessions, with a question and answer period following each
  • Beautifully designed presentations for your personal usage
  • A ‘Certificate of Completion’ delivered to your residence for an additional nominal fee

In a world filled with riba based transactions, Muslims are often left confused and ill-equipped to manage vital financial decisions. After completing Money Matters, you will be able to make halal financial decisions that are set within the bounds of Shariah Law.

Learn what is allowed? What isn’t?

This course will, Insha’Allah, clear all of your doubts about riba and provide solid solutions to identify haraam transactions so that you may stay away from them.

This was a very helpful and practical course. Professor Mansoor Danish has been a great teacher. If one comment: the course could benefit from a few case studies, supported by illustrated slides.
